Research Intern for UCSB Summer Research Academies

4-week research project investigating impact of product packaging on consumer buying behavior.

A Python script was used to web-scrape more than 17,700 products. Characteristics such as product color vibrancy, bio-friendliness, and transparent packaging were documented and used to perform data visualizations and processing. More can be read about here.

June - July 2022

AP Computer Science Instructor

Taught weekly sessions on core APCS concepts to high school students.

I used practice tests that consisted of a variety of free-response and multiple-choice questions, along with polls to help students prepare effectively for upcoming APCS exam. Class structure, including shared materials and homework, were managed in Google Classroom. Lesson slides can be accessed here.

Head Coach

Led weekly clinics in teaching basketball fundamentals to group of 20 students.

Responbilities included planning out the activities of each week's clinic, the mentorship of other prospective coaches, and the management attendance and development of all students to create a fun yet competitive environment.
